The Hispanic population in the United States is growing rapidly and has become a cornerstone to business success in our country.

It was recently announced that there are now more Spanish speakers in the United States than in Spain.

Its been some time since we posted our first of three articles about introducing a Hispanic perspective to your marketing strategy, and honestly while I was preparing this second article the entire industry was kicking into overdrive… no, more like hyper drive.

The new taco emoji came out recently – but like most people, we weren’t very happy with it. First of all, a hard shell taco doesn’t represent what an authentic taco really is, and it definitely shouldn’t have tomato, lettuce or cheddar cheese as toppings either.

Nearly every night before I crash out, I go through my routine “I swear this is the last one” late night social media scroll. On one of those recent nights, I came across a Jose Cuervo Facebook post that began with the following text: “Don’t know what #CincoDeMayo is actually about?”

Would a lemon by any other name taste as sour? That’s what we asked ourselves when creating our latest visual Transcreation piece. As is our habit, we were discussing the ins and outs of navigating between two languages and why it’s so important that we don’t merely translate.
