“La vida es un búsqueda y todos son caminos.”
JC Hernandez, our Senior Art Director and the ingenious force behind captivating visuals. Picture him as the Matisse of pixels, blending serene patience with an unrivaled eye for aesthetics. With a life motto like "La vida es una búsqueda y todos son caminos," JC's work practically shouts, “¡Ay wey!” (but in a good way.)
Beyond design work, JC's passion takes center stage. Whether relishing Taco Santo's delights, wandering the vibrant tapestry of Mexico City, Playa del Carmen's tranquility, or Disneyland's enchantment, he’s everywhere. He's a garden virtuoso, a gaming aficionado, and an unwavering fan of FC Bravos. Who knew pixels, plants, and soccer could share such a canvas of enthusiasm?
He absorbs creativity like it’s a full-time gig, from Son Rompe Pera's soulful rhythms and savoring Led Zeppelin's timeless echoes. His playlist is an eclectic rollercoaster, much like his designs. And let's talk movies – Spirited Away, Roma, and Amelie are his cinematic champions. Oh, and you can't forget the otherworldly humor of Rick and Morty or the brain-bending depths of Octavio Paz's "El laberinto de la soledad" – they're his secret creative fuel.
In his youth, JC's dreams drifted toward becoming a Marine Biologist, riding the tide of ocean mysteries. Though his path shifted, his creative waves continue to make a splash. We're fortunate to have him on our side. Oh, and a friendly tip: don't ever badmouth Xcaret unless you're ready for a passionate debate.
