The CS World Cup bracket is BACK, baby!
There are only a few days left until the FIFA World Cup!
Here at CS, we take it to the next level with a bit of competition and betting on matches (responsibly!) to predict tournament results.
We've even put together a World Cup bracket that you can download and share with your friends. Now time to put that fútbol knowledge to the test!
Below are the bracket rules that you can follow to play along. The bracket is divided into two sections and each will have its own winner.
The first half of the tournament will take place at the group stage. Here you'll try to guess the result and score of all the matches. If you pick the correct result, you will get three points and if you guess the score, you will get an additional two points.
The second half of the tournament is the elimination stage of the tournament.
Here you will guess the teams that will qualify, the position they qualify in and how far they move forward in the tournament.
Just a reminder, in the World Cup each team at the group stage gets three points for a win, one for a tie and no points for a loss. Only the first two teams from each group will move to the second stage of the tournament.
Here's how the point system works in our bracket:
Two points for guessing which teams will move forward, one additional point for guessing their correct position on the bracket.
Six points if they move to the quarter final stage.
Nine points for the semifinal.
Twelve points for the teams that make it to the 3rd place game.
Fifteen points for the teams that make it to the final game.
Finally, 35 points if you pick the World Cup champion.
Here with the CS team, Marcy took home the big prize back in 2018. Will she steal it again this year? We shall see.
Good luck and may the best one win!
