CultureSpan was tasked with developing a new awareness campaign targeted to English and Spanish language audiences, based on a “work hard – play harder” attitude for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Albuquerque. The creative wouldn’t have been complete without that counter culture vibe, which came to life through some fun TGIF moments and a smoking soundtrack.

The cool thing about rock is that the attitude transcends culture and language, which is why the vibe comes through loud and clear in our Spanish language campaign, complete with our transcreated tagline of “Rockea a lo grande.” This not only helped to make the Spanish language ads more relevant to the Hispanic target, it also cut through the TV clutter like a rock star.

The VIP Treatment –
Inn of The Mountain Gods

The Mescalero Apache-owned Inn of the Mountain Gods knows how to use what comes naturally, like the amazing New Mexico scenery. This campaign hits all the high points of the perfect weekend getaway – golf, gaming and great dining. And with CultureSpan taking the lead on the campaign for a Hispanic audience, nothing was lost in translation.

Tempting The Masses

In a textbook example of how to tailor a campaign for a Hispanic audience, our team not only effectively transcreated the existing general market campaign, we also reached into northern Chihuahua, Mexico to target new audiences. Our insights helped the Inn of the Mountain Gods team take advantage of new seasonal opportunities to court potential Mexican travelers by offering promotions during unique Mexican holidays. The results gained unique visitors to the resort casino in what would have typically been an off season.

A Vegas Style Production –
Quechan Casino Resort

It’s not the strip, but you wouldn’t know it by the creative produced for Quechan Casino Resort. Our in-house studio worked to evolve Quechan’s visual brand with an engaging spot that captured their sultry elegance. We also worked to write and co-produce “That’s What I Want”, the signature theme song used across their multimedia assets. These efforts came together to effectively position the new Quechan brand as the hottest destination in the region and the creative came through in a big way.

It’s not all about top-level branding, we know how to push the monthly promo, food & beverage and appeal to locals in a way that makes them feel at home. This was extremely important for Paradise Casino, the local favorite and sister casino to the Quechan Resort.
